Alchemilla mollis (Lady's Mantle)

Alchemilla mollis forms a round slightly spreading clump of highly characteristic wavy edged pale green to green foliage around 45 - 60 cm high and 60 - 80 cm in diameter. It is a fine ground cover plant for sun or light shade and will grow in boggy conditions. The plant is covered with a really spectacular frothy haze of tiny yellow to green ‘flowers’ in early summer.
It is always hardy and forms a very effective ground cover, without being invasive. A first class plant which produces a fine display of flowers and does not die or suffer from pests or diseases.
