Anaphalis triplinervis (Pearl Everlasting)

Anaphalis triplinervis (Pearl Everlasting) is known for being the only silver leaved plant which grows well in a shady situation. The greyish green leaves are covered in fine silvery hairs and the loose heads of silver/white starry flowers are out in late summer. The flowers are close to ever lasting. They will dry without losing their colour, and last a long time.
The plant is about 10 inches tall. It forms loose spreading clumps, and will grow in sun or partial shade. It tolerates poor soil, but does not like being water-logged.
