Asplenium scolopendrium 'Angustatum' (Crested Hart's Tongue Fern)

Hart's Tongue fern (Asplenium scolopendrium) is a wonderful plant for groundcover in dry shade, growing in a container or for a damp garden. 'Angustatum' has a mass of crested distinctive green blade-shaped leaves. The slowly expanding clump is generally 30 - 45 cm tall.
This fern will grow in any garden soil, in containers or in the mortar and cracks in old walls. It will often reproduce by spores.
