Photo of Aster novae-angliae 'Alma Potschke' (Michaelmas Daisy) plant

Pot Size: 9cm
Price: £3.95            Back

Aster novae-angliae ‘Alma Potschke’ is one of the very best tall asters (Michaelmas Daisies). The beautiful large salmon-tinged rose pink flowers appear above the clear green foliage from late summer right through the autumn. The height is 1 to 1.5 metres.

Aster novae-angliae is known as the New England aster because the original species is a wild flower in New England. This species is particularly mildew resistant and upright. It is a reliable perennial which will grow in any garden soil in sun or light shade. It is happiest in well drained moist soil in a sheltered sunny spot.

Detailed growing instructions are supplied with the Aster novae-angliae 'Alma Potschke' (Michaelmas Daisy) plants, and can be viewed here.
