Aster 'Marie Ballard' (Michaelmas Daisy)

Aster novi-belgii is the traditional Michaelmas daisy. Marie Ballard produces the most beautiful clear blue double flowers from late summer through the autumn. It is approximately 90 cm high.
Michaelmas daisies will grow in sun or light shade. They thrive in well drained soil that does not dry out too much in hot summers, and prefer a sheltered sunny spot.
