Aster amellus 'Brilliant' (Michaelmas Daisy)

Aster amellus is not as common as most of the other Michaelmas Daisies and could be more widely grown. The large pale pink flowers of 'Brilliant' are carried on stems up to 3 feet tall from July into the autumn. It does not suffer from mildew like the 'true' Michaelmas Daisies (aster novi-belgii).
This plant will grow in any well drained garden soil in sun or shade.
