Aster novi-belgii 'Freda Ballard' is a fine tall variety of Michaelmas Daisy about 75cm tall with rich red semi-double flowers in the Autumn.
It is a reliable perennial which will grow in any garden soil in sun or light shade. It is happiest in well drained moist soil in a sheltered sunny spot.
