Aster novi-belgii (Michaelmas Daisy)

Aster novi-belgii is the classic Michaelmas Daisy. The 90 to 100 cm stems come up every year and are covered with a multitude of bluish-lilac yellow centred daisy flowers in late summer and autumn.
This plant is happiest in any reasonable well drained garden soil in sun or partial shade.
