Astilbe chinensis var. pumila

Astilbe chinensis 'Pumila' is a little more tolerant of dry conditions than most astilbes. The attractive foliage hugs the ground, making a good groundcover. The pink flower plumes are approximately 1 foot high.
This plant will grow in any well drained garden soil in sun or shade.
