Astrantia is an extremely hardy and at the same time very delicate looking plant. The pink flowers of good pink are out from June to September. It can survive in sticky clay soils and dry shade. The height is 18 inches to 2 feet.
This plant will do best in rich moist soil in partial shade, although it will survive in poorer soil. It grows to a height of approximately 80 cm.
