Astrantia major 'Sunningdale Variegated' has striking yellow-green variegated foliage in the early part of the year. The pink and green flowers are out from June to September. It can survive in sticky clay soils and dry shade. The height is about 75cm.
This plant will do best in rich moist soil in partial shade, although it will survive in poorer soil. It grows to a height of approximately 80 cm.
