Viola odorata Pink Flowered Form (Pink Flowered Sweet Violet) Sweet violet (viola odorata) is one of the first woodland plants to flower in early spring. It can easily be naturalized under cool shady conditions in the garden, and will spread by sending out runners as well as by self sowing. The sweet scented flowers are pink coloured. As well as being an essential plant for any shady or woodland garden, the robust heart-shaped leaves make an excellent evergreen low level ground cover in the flower border, especially in partial shade.
