Brunnera macrophylla 'Langtrees' is the silver spotted leaved form of the species and produces abundant enchanting forget-me-not blue flowers on spreading flower stalks in March to May. The flowers keep opening over a long period of time as the leaves are emerging from the soil, so the flower covered clump of thick heart shaped leaves expands over the spring.
Throughout the summer the leaves form a dense clump of attractive ground cover approximately 60 cm high. This plant is not fussy over soil and will grow in sun or partial shade.
