Delphiniums are often called the kings of the herbaceous border, and the Pacific Giants strain is one of the most spectacular forms of delphinium.
There is nothing quite like the clear blue flower heads of the Blue Bird Group, rising 2 metres above the ground in summer. This plant prefers a humus rich soil in a sheltered and sunny situation.
