Echinops ritro (Globe Thistle)

Echinops ritro (Globe Thistle) is a stately plant, with distinctive steely blue globe flower heads in summer, and also striking dissected greyish foliage and a stately architectural growth habit. The height is approximately 1.5 metres.
Echinops ritro plants will grow in any reasonable garden soil and produce their best displays in full sun.
