Eryngium agavifolium (Agave-leaved Sea Holly) has an evergreen rosette of toothed green leaves and produces greenish white flower heads in Summer on 4-5 foot stalks.
Eryngium agavifolium plants will grow in any reasonable garden soil and like good drainage and a sunny site. They are fairly drought resistant.
