Eryngium variifolium (Variegated Sea Holly) is a striking plant for a dry sunny situation. In July and August the 18 inch tall stem is covered with teasel like blue flowers and spiny white amid grey/green leaves.
Eryngium variifolium plants prefer any well drained soil and grow well in full sun.
