Foeniculum 'Rubrum' (Bronze Fennel)

Foeniculum vulgare 'Rubrum' (Bronze Fennel) is a superb ornamental plant, as well as a culinary herb. The red/bronze/green ferny foliage makes a fine feature in a flower border, as do the small yellow flowers on 3 to 5 foot tall stems in summer. The leaves smell of aniseed when crushed.
Foeniculum vulgare 'Rubrum' plants prefer any well drained soil and grow well in full sun.
