Geranium himalayense (Hardy Geranium)

Geranium himalayense produces one of the most beautiful royal blue flower shades in any plant. The attractive divided leaves form a mound approximately 40 cm high and 60 cm across throughout the summer, with the main flower display occurring in early summer. There is sometimes a second flush of blooms in late summer, especially if the plant has been dead-headed earlier in the year.
Geranium himalayense plants grow well in any reasonable soil in a sunny or partially shaded position. The best growth is produced in well drained organic soil in a sheltered sunny spot.
