Geum rivale ‘Album’ (Water Avens) is a beautiful and versatile plant. The dark green almost maple shaped leaves form a neat mound approximately 30 cm high. The creamy flowers then rise above the foliage in early summer.
This plant is happiest in a moist and/or shady situation. It can be grown in boggy conditions, as a water-side marginal plant. The one thing it does not like is the combination of dry soil and hot sun.
