Gunnera manicata (Giant Brazilian Rhubarb)

Gunnera manicata is a giant for the waterside. The umbrella shaped leaves can be three feet across and the plant is 6 feet tall and up to 8 feet across. The flowers are carried on a green cone-like stem.
Gunnera manicata plants will grow in any reasonable garden soil that does not dry out in sun or partial shade. it is a fine architectural aquatic marginal plant.
