Helleborus orientalis Mixed (Lenten Rose)
Helleborus orientalis always makes a fine show in any garden. In January to April it produces the most spectacular flowers, when very little else is blooming. Then, after flowering, the mound of tough green leaves provide an architectural foliage feature in the border, or first rate ground cover in the shade, for the rest of the year. |
