Hieracium aurantiacum (Orange Hawkweed)

Hieracium aurantiacum (commonly known as Orange Hawkweed or Fox and Cubs) is an attractive and versatile plant for near the front of the border, for ground cover or for a wild garden. The attractive orange flowers are carried on stalks approximately 40 cm high. The rosettes of dark green hairy leaves spread by underground runners.
This plant will grow in any reasonable soil in full sun or light shade. It is quite drought resistant and will grow in cracks in brickwork. It usually spreads by self seeding and by suckers.
