Kniphofia 'Tetbury Torch' (Red Hot Poker)

Kniphofia 'Tetbury Torch' is a new variety which is said to be unique among pokers because it flowers twice a year: once in June, and again in September. The flowers are bright apricot yellow and it is about 3 feet tall.
This plant will grow in any reasonable well drained garden soil in a sunny position.
