Leucanthemum maximum (Shasta daisy) is the classic garden daisy. It is a mass of yellow centred white daisy flowers about 75 mm across, on 90 cm stalks and above the vigorous green foliage.
This plant will grow in any reasonable garden soil and prefers a sunny position. Leucanthemum was formerly known as chrysanthemum.
