Monarda 'Earl Grey' (Bergamot, Bee Balm) has vivid scarlet flowers on 4 foot tall flower stems in summer. The leaves are fragrant, and can be used to make a herbal tea. The flavour is very like earl grey tea.
This plant will grow in any garden soil in a moist site. It is happiest in a moist sunny site in organic soil.
