Ophiopogon 'Nigrescens' (Black Grass)

Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens' is an attractive black leaved plant for the border or for growing in a container. The purple-black grass like foliage is evergreen, and the rather indistinct pink flowers are out in late summer. The height is about 6 inches.
This plant will grow in any reasonable moist well drained garden soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot.
