Platycodon grandiflorus 'Perlmutterschale' (Mother of pearl coloured balloon flower) produces superb delicate pale pink flowers on 18 inch to 2 foot tall stems in summer.
This plant will grow in any reasonable garden soil in full sun or partial shade. It will do best in well drained humus rich soil in a sheltered sunny site.
