Polemonium caeruleum (Jacob's Ladder) produces beautiful blue (or sometimes white) flowers on the 80 cm high flower stem in summer. The 'ladder like' foliage is also an attractive feature.
This plant will grow in any reasonable garden soil in sun or partial shade.
