Primula japonica bulleyana (Candelabra Primrose) produces crimson buds opening into orange flowers on candelabra-like flower stems 60cm high in May and June.
This plant will grow in any reasonable garden soil in sun or light shade. It will flourish in waterlogged conditions and organic soil.
