Rhodiola rosea (Ice Plant)
Rhodiola rosea is known as the rose root sedum because its thick fleshy roots smell of roses when cut. The attractive rather fleshy glaucous leaf rosettes emerge from the basal root in spring, and eventually reach a height of approximately 25 cm. The pretty yellow flower heads are out in late spring and early summer. |
