Stokesia laevis 'Traumerei' is a very good plant for a dry sunny situation at the front of a flower bed. The aster or scabious like flowers are out from July until the first frosts and the height is 12-18 inches.
This plant will grow in any reasonable quality well drained garden soil in a sunny situation. It prefers light sandy soil.
