Symphytum 'Lambrook Sunrise' (Yellow Leaved Comfrey) produces mounds of acid yellow foliage about 75cm high, with clear blue flowers in Spring and early Summer. It is a beautiful and versatile plant for the border, for ground cover or for the wild garden.
This plant will grow well in any reasonable garden soil in sun or shade. The yellow foliage makes it particularly attractive under deciduous trees and in other shady places.
